The wood has a nice weight to it and my kids actually stopped fighting over the little chairs. It fits neatly in the corner of our apartment, which is saying something since space is tight.
The 29 inch height is perfect for my four-year-old, she can climb in and out on her own without help. The wood has a smooth finish with no rough edges, which I checked carefully since my toddler still puts everything in his mouth. Both kids fit at it together with room for their blocks and puzzles.
Assembled this in about twenty minutes and it hasn't wobbled once, even with my four-year-old climbing on it. The 29-inch height is perfect for her to sit and color while I'm at the kitchen counter.
