The wood grain on this little saucepan feels smooth and sturdy — my toddler loves pretending to cook pasta with it.
My daughter stirs her pretend soup with this for a solid twenty minutes, and the wood has held up perfectly through all of it. The saucepan's little handle is sized just right for her grip.
The ladle actually holds a decent scoop of dried beans, so my son can serve his stuffed animals without it all tumbling out. The wood is sanded smooth with no rough edges, which matters since this thing gets banged on the floor daily.
